ChurchBooks3 Support Center

Welcome to the ChurchBooks3 support center. Find answers to common questions about setting up and using our church accounting software — from initial account configuration to advanced financial reporting.

Getting Started with Church Accounting

New to ChurchBooks3? Start by setting up your chart of accounts, adding your fund categories, and recording your opening balances. The church ledger supports double-entry accounting — every transaction is recorded as a debit and credit across your accounts. If you are migrating from spreadsheets or another church bookkeeping system, our team can help you import opening data and configure your account structure.

Donation Tracking and Giving Reports

ChurchBooks3 church donation tracking lets you record tithes, offerings, and special campaigns and assign each to a donor and fund category. At any time you can generate individual donor giving statements, family envelope reports, or a full giving history export — all formatted with your church letterhead. Contact support for help with QR code mobile giving, Givelify CSV import, or year-end tax statement generation.

Budgeting and Financial Reports

The budget module lets you plan your annual church budget by account and department, then track actuals versus budget throughout the year. Financial reports — income statements, balance sheets, and budget-versus-actual comparisons — are generated as professionally formatted PDFs. Contact support if you need help configuring reports or interpreting financial data.

Membership, Attendance, and Events
